RaceHunt collects location data to enable tracking your hunting distance, routes, and showing your position on the map even when the app is closed or not in use.
- Foreground Location: Used to display your current position on the map while you are actively using the App.
- Background Location: We require background location access to accurately calculate your movement and hunting progress when the device screen is locked or the App is running in the background.
Location data is used strictly for core app functionality and is not sold to third parties or used for advertising purposes. You can enable or disable location access at any time through your device settings.
B. Camera and Photo Library
We may request access to your device's camera and photo library to allow you to take profile pictures, scan QR codes, or upload images relevant to the in-app experience. Images are only accessed with your explicit permission and are not shared publicly without your consent.
C. Personal Data
When you create an account, we may ask for:

- First name and last name
This information is used to manage your account, authenticate you securely, and provide customer support.
D. Usage Data
We may automatically collect data such as your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address, device type, operating system version, and diagnostic data to help us improve the App's stability and performance.
E. Gameplay Data, Scores, and Public Leaderboards
When you complete missions, running sessions, or participate in game events, RaceHunt collects and transmits your gameplay activity, distance covered, completion time, score, and in-game achievements to our servers.
Public Leaderboards: To foster fair competition and community engagement, your operative display name, avatar, level, and earned score/rank are displayed publicly on global and friends leaderboards. By participating in gameplay and leaderboards, you consent to the uploading and display of this performance data. You can choose to use an anonymous display name in your profile settings at any time, or request rank removal by contacting us at our support email.
2. Third-Party Services
The App uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. We ensure that these services comply with strict privacy standards. The third-party service providers used by the App include:
- Google Play Services
- Mapbox (for map rendering and navigation)
- Expo (for app framework and crash reporting)
3. Data Retention and Deletion
We will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.
Your Right to Delete Data: You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data. You can delete your account and associated data directly within the App by navigating to Settings > Account > Delete Account. These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers.
